When types overlap
If more than one product type seems to fit, use the type that has the majority influence on the book or educational item.
For example, if a resource is mostly a student text with a few practice pages, treat it as a Textbook, not a general workbook.

- Pick the single best product type based on the preponderance of detail, not a mix of several options.
- Remember that “Curriculum” means a publisher or series with lessons, tests, workbooks, and teacher guides, not just any educational book.
Product type is different from tags. Product type is the main category for an item in the First Homeschool store page, while tags provide added detail such as subject, grade, and condition.
