What is First Homeschool?

First Homeschool is a locally-owned homeschool bookstore serving families across Northwest Arkansas and nationwide. We specialize in both new and gently-used homeschool curriculum, along with educational resources designed to support your family’s learning journey.

Where are you located?

Our storefront is located 1336 Carley Rd, Ste 3 in Springdale, Arkansas. We're on the corner of Sunset Ave and Carley Rd, right behind the Walgreens. You can also shop with us online—nationwide shipping is available.

Do you only sell homeschool curriculum?

While homeschool curriculum is our specialty, we also carry educational games, learning resources, workbooks, flashcards, and other family-friendly materials.

Do you sell both new and used curriculum?

Yes! We carefully curate our selection of new curriculum while providing a wide variety of quality used resources for homeschool families.

How do I know the condition of used books?

Each used item includes detailed condition notes in the product description. If you're shopping in-store, you're welcome to browse and inspect materials in person. If you have a question about our a book's condition, please ask us!

Do you carry full curriculum sets?

We stock complete curriculum packages for popular homeschool programs as much as possible. Inventory changes frequently, so check our website or contact us to inquire about specific sets.

Can I request specific books or curriculum?

Absolutely. If you're looking for a specific title or program, let us know! We'll notify you if it becomes available.

SELLING & TRADE-INS

Can I sell my used homeschool curriculum to First Homeschool?

Yes! We accept gently-used homeschool curriculum and educational materials. Approved items may qualify for store credit or cash. See our Buyback Program page for details.

What types of items do you accept?

We purchase homeschool curriculum, educational resources, and select learning materials in good condition. Acceptance depends on condition, demand, and inventory needs.

How is store credit calculated?

Store credit is based on the in-store resale value of your items and offers greater value than cash payouts.

ONLINE ORDERS & SHIPPING

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes! We ship anywhere in the United States.

What are your shipping options?

We offer flat-rate shipping and free shipping options based on your order total. Details are available at checkout or on our Shipping Policy page.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery times vary by location but most orders arrive within 3–7 business days.

Can I pick up my order in-store?

Yes! Choose “Local Pickup” during checkout, and we’ll have your order ready for pickup at our Springdale store.

CLASSROOM SPACE & SERVICES

Is your classroom space available for rent?

Yes! Our classroom is available for homeschool co-ops, tutoring, workshops, student clubs, quiet study time, and other educational needs. Contact us for rates and availability.

Do you provide laminating, copying, or binding services?

We offer self-service laminating, copying, and binding equipment for customer use during store hours.
