Dispute Resolution Process

Dispute Resolution Process

Occasionally, disagreements may arise between buyers and sellers in The Neighborhood. This policy explains the steps for resolving disputes fairly and efficiently.

Step 1: Direct Communication

  • Buyers and sellers should first attempt to resolve disputes directly through messaging or email.
  • Provide order numbers, photos, or documentation to support your case.
  • Many issues can be resolved quickly with clear communication.

Step 2: Escalation to Support

  • If direct communication does not resolve the issue, contact customer support with all relevant details.
  • Support may request documentation from both parties before reviewing the case.
  • Disputes will be evaluated based on marketplace policies and evidence provided.

Step 3: Resolution

  • Resolutions may include refunds, replacements, or other corrective actions.
  • Decisions are made to balance fairness and uphold The Neighborhood’s standards.
  • Refunds or adjustments are processed through the original payment method whenever possible.

Responsibilities

  • Sellers must cooperate with dispute investigations and provide timely responses.
  • Buyers should submit complete and accurate information when opening disputes.
  • Uncooperative behavior may result in penalties, withheld funds, or account restrictions.

Special Notes

  • First Homeschool reserves the right to make final determinations in disputes.
  • Repeated disputes against a seller may lead to suspension or loss of selling privileges.
