Group Posting Etiquette

Group Posting Etiquette

Groups in The Neighborhood are meant to connect families with shared interests and goals. Following proper posting etiquette helps keep discussions respectful and productive.

Best Practices

  • Stay on topic and post content relevant to the group’s purpose.
  • Use respectful, clear, and constructive language in all posts and replies.
  • Support other members by sharing experiences, encouragement, and helpful resources.

What to Avoid

  • Flooding groups with repetitive posts or unrelated content.
  • Engaging in personal attacks, harassment, or offensive remarks.
  • Using groups for unauthorized advertising or self-promotion.

Moderation

  • Group moderators may edit or remove posts that break etiquette rules.
  • Repeated violations may result in removal from the group.
  • Members can report inappropriate content for review by moderators or support staff.

Responsibilities

  • Respect the privacy of group members—do not share private posts outside the group.
  • Follow all community and marketplace policies while participating in groups.
  • Encourage a welcoming environment where families feel comfortable sharing.

Special Notes

  • Group spaces are not replacements for customer support or dispute resolution.
  • First Homeschool reserves the right to close or moderate groups as needed.
