Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments
While most orders in The Neighborhood arrive safely and on time, shipping issues can occur.
This policy explains how lost, delayed, or damaged shipments are handled.
Lost Shipments
- If your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, contact the seller or customer support.
- Carriers may require a waiting period before a package is declared lost.
- Refunds or replacements will be processed once a shipment is confirmed lost.
Delayed Shipments
- Weather, holidays, or carrier backlogs may delay deliveries.
- Sellers are expected to ship within the handling times they advertise.
- Tracking updates will provide the most accurate information on delivery progress.
Damaged Shipments
- If an item arrives damaged, notify the seller within 7 days of delivery.
- Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging for review.
- Refunds or replacements are determined by the seller’s policies or First Homeschool standards for its own products.
Responsibilities
- Sellers must package items securely and provide accurate tracking numbers.
- Buyers should report issues promptly with order numbers and evidence when applicable.
- First Homeschool may intervene in disputes to uphold marketplace standards.
Special Notes
- Multiple orders from different sellers may result in separate claims for lost or damaged items.
- Carrier investigations may take time; resolutions depend on their findings.
