Packaging & Handling Standards

To ensure a consistent and reliable experience for families, sellers in The Neighborhood must follow clear packaging and handling standards. Proper care protects materials and builds buyer trust.

Packaging Requirements

• All items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
• Books and curriculum should be protected with bubble mailers, boxes, or padding as appropriate.
• Digital products do not require physical packaging but must meet electronic delivery standards.

Handling Standards

• Orders should be processed and shipped within the timeframe promised in your listing.
• Include accurate return addresses and order information inside the package when possible.
• Handle used items with care; ensure they are clean and ready for immediate use by buyers.

Labeling

• Each package must include the buyer’s full shipping address and tracking details as provided.
• Fragile or heavy items should be clearly marked to reduce risk of damage.

Special Notes

• Poor packaging or mishandling that results in repeated buyer complaints may lead to removal of selling privileges.
