To keep The Neighborhood safe and useful for homeschool families, only approved items may be listed. This policy defines what products are permitted and which are prohibited.

Permitted Items

  • Homeschool curriculum, textbooks, workbooks, and teacher guides.
  • Educational manipulatives, kits, and learning games.
  • Children’s and young adult literature suitable for homeschool use.
  • Educational software or digital products meeting marketplace standards.
  • Supplies directly related to homeschooling or instruction.

Prohibited Items

  • Counterfeit, pirated, or illegally reproduced materials.
  • Objectionable or inappropriate content not suitable for homeschool settings.
  • Non-educational items unrelated to homeschooling.
  • Hazardous, unsafe, or recalled products.
  • Consumables such as food or supplements.
  • Items that infringe on copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws.

Responsibilities

  • Sellers must review their listings to ensure items meet these guidelines.
  • Listings found to include prohibited items may be removed without notice.
  • Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

Special Notes

  • First Homeschool reserves the right to update the list of prohibited items as needed.
  • When in doubt, contact support before listing questionable products.
