Resolving Payment Issues

Payment issues can occasionally occur in The Neighborhood. Our goal is to help buyers and sellers resolve them quickly and fairly while keeping transactions secure.

Common Issues

  • Declined or failed payments during checkout.
  • Duplicate charges appearing on a buyer’s account.
  • Payout delays or errors for seller accounts.
  • Discrepancies between charged amounts and order totals.

Buyer Steps

  • Check that your payment method has sufficient funds and is up to date.
  • Retry checkout or use an alternate card or digital wallet if available.
  • Contact customer support with your order number and payment details if the problem persists.

Seller Steps

  • Verify that your bank account details in the seller dashboard are correct.
  • Review payout statements for deductions, fees, or pending transactions.
  • Report missing or incorrect payouts to support for investigation.

Dispute Resolution

  • Chargebacks and disputes will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Both buyer and seller may be required to provide documentation.
  • Funds may be temporarily held until the issue is resolved.

Special Notes

  • Unresolved issues may result in restricted account activity.
  • First Homeschool reserves the right to make final determinations on disputed payments.
