The Transcript System Lite is a simple homeschool high school transcript template for Google Sheets and Excel. Enter courses, grades, and credits for grades 9–12, and it calculates GPA and prints a one-page transcript.
It's the Lite version of our Premium transcript spreadsheet. Same math, fewer tabs. If spreadsheets make you nervous, start here.
What's inside
- One workbook with grade 9–12 course tabs
- Automatic GPA and credit totals
- Letter grades or percentages, your choice
- Space for transfer, repeated, and dual-enrollment courses
- A short section for course descriptions, testing, and activities
- A print-ready transcript page you can sign and save as PDF
- A Download Guide and a Guide to Using the Transcript (both PDF)
Who it's for
A parent making a homeschool transcript for the first time who wants it done, not perfect. It also fits families applying to community college, trade school, or a job that asks for a transcript.
Who should skip it
Is your student applying to selective colleges or playing NCAA sports? Buy the Premium version instead. It adds weighted GPA, NCAA core-course checks, and a fuller activities log. You'll want those.
Applying to a four-year college? The transcript is one of three documents they expect. The Course Description Kit writes the other two: course descriptions and a school profile.
Common questions
Do I need to know spreadsheets? No. You type in course names, grades, and credits. The formulas are already there.
Is a homeschool transcript official? In most states, the parent is the school administrator, so a transcript you sign is the official one. Check your own state's rules.
