A Google Sheets and Excel tracker that adds up your Missouri homeschool hours for each child and tells you, in plain words, whether you're on pace for 1,000 total, 600 core and 400 core hours at home.
You log a day in about a minute. The sheet does the counting, the core split and the at-home split, so you're not doing math on a Sunday night in May.
What’s inside
- Daily Log: one row per subject. Pick "All students" for a family read-aloud and it counts once for every child
- Dashboard: total, core and core-at-home hours against 1,000 / 600 / 400, with a bar for each
- On pace or Behind for each child, plus the hours a week each one needs from today to your last lesson day
- Missouri status from each birthdate: under 7, turning 7 this year, or turning 16 (when the hours rules stop)
- Monthly tab: any child's hours by month with running totals
- Resources tab: the Missouri statutes, support groups, and links for neighboring states
- An 11-page parent guide
Who it’s for
Missouri families, home school or FPE, with one to six children who want to know they're on track without counting by hand.

Common questions
Google Sheets or Excel? Both come with the download. Google Sheets is free and works on a phone or tablet: open the copy link in the guide and click Make a copy. Excel needs Microsoft 365 or Excel 2021 or newer. It won't run in Excel 2019 and older, or in Apple Numbers.
Does co-op count? Yes. Mark the row Away. Core co-op classes count toward the 1,000 and the 600, just not toward the 400 hours at your regular home school location.
What you get
